1.A city weed board may designate as noxious certain weeds that are not on the state or
county noxious weed list, provided the city weed board first consults with the North
Dakota state university extension service and that the designation is approved by the
commissioner.
2.Before January 1, 2010, and at least every five years thereafter, each city weed board
shall review its noxious weed list and, by majority vote, may remove any weed from its
list. The city weed board shall provide the commissioner with at least fourteen days'
notice of the time and place at which its list will be reviewed and, within fourteen days
of the review, shall provide the commissioner with written notice of any changes to the
city list.
