Fees for inspection and treatment.
An operator of a livestock auction market may not permit the removal of any livestock from
the establishment until the livestock has been treated in accordance with the rules adopted by
the state board of animal health. If livestock is destined to be shipped interstate, the authorized
veterinarian of the board shall furnish to each purchaser a certificate showing that inspection
has been made and treatment administered in accordance with the requirements of the state of
destination. All fees for veterinary inspection, treatment, and services, including brand
inspection, must be collected by the operator of the livestock auction market and paid to the
inspector.
