Text
No motor vehicle carrying any load beyond the lines of the left fenders of such vehicle nor
extending more than twelve inches [30.48 centimeters] beyond the line of the fenders on the
right side of such vehicle may be operated on the highways, except as permitted by section
39-12-04. The department of transportation or the highway patrol shall have authority to revoke
permits when such holder violates or abuses the privilege or conditions of permit.
