Text
The director may by order, and local authorities may by ordinance, with respect to any
controlled-access roadway under their respective jurisdictions, prohibit the use of any such
roadway by any class or kind of traffic which is found incompatible with the normal and safe
movement of traffic.
The director or the local authority adopting any such prohibition shall erect and maintain
official traffic-control devices on the controlled-access roadway on which such prohibitions are
applicable and when in place no person may disobey the restrictions stated on such devices.
