§ 39-10-01 — Provisions of title refer to vehicles upon the highways - Exceptions
1.The provisions of this title relating to the operation of vehicles apply to the operation of
vehicles upon highways or other places open to the public for the operation of vehicles
except when a different place is specifically referred to in a given section.
2.The provisions of this title, or equivalent ordinances, relating to reporting of accidents,
careless driving, exhibition driving, drag racing, reckless or aggravated reckless
driving, driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or controlled substances,
or fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer apply upon highways and elsewhere.
