Text
An individual who has signed the application of a minor for a license may file with the
director a verified written request to cancel the operator's license of the minor. Upon receipt of
the request, the director shall cancel the operator's license of the minor and the individual who
signed the application of the minor is relieved from the liability imposed under this chapter by
reason of having signed the application on account of any subsequent negligence of the minor
in operating a motor vehicle.
