Text
1.Upon submission of an application for an initial, renewal, or duplicate instruction
permit, operator's license, or a nondriver identification card by a man at least eighteen
years of age and under the age of twenty-six, the department shall provide for the
registration of the applicant with the selective service system.
2.The department shall provide language on the application informing the applicant his
signature on the application serves as an acknowledgment the applicant already has
registered with the selective service system or the applicant consents to registration.
3.An applicant who objects to registration for conscientious, religious, or other grounds
may contact the selective service system for alternative options.
