§ 28-20-35 — Cancellation of judgment of record
1.For judgments initially docketed before August 1, 2021, after ten years after the entry
of a judgment that has not been renewed, or after twenty years after the entry of a
judgment that has been renewed, the judgment must be canceled of record.
2.For judgments initially docketed on or after August 1, 2021, after twenty years after the
entry of a judgment is docketed, the judgment must be canceled of record.
