Text
Unless the party or the party's attorney furnishes a judgment roll, the clerk, immediately after entering the judgment, shall attach together and file the following papers, which constitute the judgment roll unless otherwise directed by rule of the supreme court:
1.In cases when the complaint is not answered by any defendant, the summons and
complaint or copies thereof, the affidavit for service of summons by publication, if any,
proof of service and proof that no answer has been received, the report, if any, and a
copy of the judgment;
2.In all other cases, the summons, pleadings, or copies thereof, the verdict or decision,
the report, if any, the offer of the defendant, a copy of the judgment, the statement of
the case, if any, and all orders and papers in any way involving the merits
