85-7-1823 . Notice of hearing. On such petition being filed, the district court or judge thereof shall make an order fixing the time and place for a hearing and directing that notice be given. Thereupon the clerk of the court shall cause to be published at least once a week for 2 successive calendar weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the county where the petition is filed, with preference given to a newspaper published in the county, a notice stating the time and place fixed by the district court when and where the hearing on the petition will be had and containing a brief statement of the matters set forth in the petition and the object thereof.
