85-7-1002 . Dissolution of districts having incurred indebtedness.
(1)Any irrigation district organized and existing under the laws of the state of Montana may be dissolved by an order of the district court of the county in which the land or the greater portion of the lands of the district are situated.
(2)In case a district has incurred bonded indebtedness and has constructed or purchased any irrigation plant or system for the irrigation of the land in the district, it shall be necessary, in order that the district court may acquire jurisdiction to enter an order dissolving the district, that a petition be filed with the clerk of said district court.
