53-6-189 . Rulemaking authority. The department may adopt rules to implement 53-6-143 , 53-6-144 , 53-6-165 through 53-6-169 , and 53-6-171 through 53-6-188 . The rules must comply with applicable federal law in 42 U.S.C. 1396, et seq., as may be amended, and applicable implementing regulations and policies.
