53-6-134 . Extension of eligibility for medical assistance to persons terminated from section 1931 medicaid program.

(1)In providing for the extension of eligibility for medical assistance under subsection (2), the department may provide for health insurance or other health coverage in accordance with subsections 1925(a)(4)(B) and 1925(b)(4)(C) of Title XIX of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. 1396r-6(a)(4)(B) and 42 U.S.C. 1396r-6(b)(4)(C), and may exercise the other options contained in section 1925 of Title XIX of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. 1396r-6, regarding the provision of medical assistance.
(2)In accordance with waivers of federal law that are granted by the secretary of the U.S. department of health and human services, the department of public health and human services
