61-4-113 . New motor vehicles towed into state to be labeled.

(1)Any firm, person, corporation, or association or any of its employees offering for sale or carrying on the business of selling new motor vehicles in the state of Montana is required to prominently label any motor vehicle that has been driven under its own power, pushed, towed, or propelled by any other means to sufficiently identify it from other new motor vehicles that have not been driven, pushed, or towed and is required to furnish the purchaser of the motor vehicle with a certificate, on a printed form to be furnished by the department upon request by the dealers, showing the actual number of miles the motor vehicle has been driven under its own power and the number of miles the motor vehicle has been pushed, towed, or o
