61-4-112 . New motor vehicles -- transfers by dealers.

(1)When a dealer transfers a new motor vehicle, power sports vehicle, or trailer to a purchaser or other recipient, the dealer shall, within 30 calendar days following the date of delivery of the new motor vehicle, power sports vehicle, or trailer forward to an authorized agent or the county treasurer of the county where the owner of the motor vehicle, power sports vehicle, or trailer is domiciled:
(a)an application for a certificate of title with a notice of security interest, if any, executed by the purchaser or recipient; and
(b)a manufacturer's certificate of origin that shows that the motor vehicle, power sports vehicle, or trailer has not previously been registered or owned, except as otherwise provided in this section, by any
