16-3-106 . Conveyance of alcoholic beverages -- opening alcoholic beverages during transit forbidden.
(1)It is lawful to carry or convey alcoholic beverages to any place to which the alcoholic beverages may be lawfully delivered under this code and the rules of the department.
(2)It is unlawful to:
(a)open, break, or allow to be opened or broken any package or vessel containing an alcoholic beverage; or
(b)drink or use or allow to be drunk or used any alcoholic beverage while it is being carried or conveyed.
