81-22-104 . Enforcement of laws and rules -- violation as misdemeanor.
(1)The department shall supervise and enforce the laws and rules which pertain to the standards of quality and sanitation of manufactured dairy products and of cream, whole milk, skimmed milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and food additives used in manufacturing dairy products.
(2)Rules adopted under this chapter have the effect of law, and violation of these rules is a misdemeanor, punishable as provided in 81-22-601 unless a specific penalty has been provided.
