53-21-407 . Limitation on expenditures. For the biennium beginning July 1, 2023, the department may spend up to $9 million a year to place individuals with a primary diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, other forms of dementia, or traumatic brain injury in a community setting rather than at the Montana state hospital when those individuals meet only the commitment criteria of 53-21-126 (1)(a) or (1)(d)(i)(B).
