42-2-102 . Proceedings subject to Indian Child Welfare Acts. A proceeding under this title that pertains to an Indian child, as defined in 41-3-1303 , is subject to the federal Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978, 25 U.S.C. 1901, et seq., and the Montana Indian Child Welfare Act provided for in Title 41, chapter 3, part 13.
