72-15-302 . Retiring public administrator may close pending estates. The public administrator, upon the expiration or termination of the term of office, may continue to administer estates not closed by filing and presenting to the court a full and complete account pertaining to each estate not closed and securing a court order granting the public administrator letters of administration and qualifying the public administrator as a personal representative.
