50-12-202 . Definitions. As used in this part, the following definitions apply:
(1)"Council" means the palliative care and quality of life interdisciplinary advisory council provided for in 50-12-203 .
(2)"Department" means the department of public health and human services provided for in 2-15-2201 .
(3)"Palliative care" means patient-centered and family-centered medical care that optimizes quality of life by anticipating, preventing, and treating suffering caused by serious illness.
(4)"Program" means the palliative care consumer and professional information and education program provided for in 50-12-205 .
