50-12-103 . Availability of experimental treatments.

(1)A manufacturer, health care provider, or health care facility may make an experimental treatment available upon a patient's request.
(2)The manufacturer, health care provider, or health care facility may:
(a)provide an experimental treatment to a patient without receiving compensation; or
(b)establish payment arrangements with a patient for an experimental treatment.
(3)A manufacturer, health care provider, or health care facility is not required to make an experimental treatment available to a patient.
