87-1-210 . Research, training, and other projects.

(1)The department may enter into cooperative agreements with educational institutions and state, federal, or other agencies to promote wildlife research and to train personnel for wildlife management. It may enter into cooperative agreements with federal agencies, municipalities, corporations, organized groups of landowners, associations, and individuals for the development of game, bird, fish, or fur-bearing animal management and demonstration projects.
(2)It may establish and maintain an educational and biological program for the collection and diffusion of statistics and information germane to the purpose of this title.
