Text

The purpose of sections 385.010 to 385.080 is to promote the public welfare by regulating credit life insurance and credit accident and sickness insurance, credit casualty insurance, credit involuntary unemployment insurance and credit property insurance.  Nothing in sections 385.010 to 385.080 is intended to prohibit or discourage reasonable competition.  The provisions of sections 385.010 to 385.080 shall be liberally construed.
