Text

1.  The authority shall have all of the powers necessary and convenient to carry out and effectuate the purposes and provisions of sections 348.005 to 348.180 , including, but not limited to, the power to:

(1)Sue and be sued in its own name;
(2)Have an official seal and alter the same at pleasure;
(3)Have perpetual succession; and
(4)Maintain an office at such place or places within this state as it may designate. 2.  For purposes of effectuating its public purposes, the authority may:
(1)Borrow money and issue bonds as provided in sections 348.005 to 348.180 ;
(2)Procure insurance or guarantees from any public or private entities, including any department, agency, or instrumentality of the United States, for payment of any bonds issued by the authority, including the po
