Text

Notwithstanding the provisions of any other law to the contrary:

(1)No officer or employee of this state shall be deemed to have forfeited or shall forfeit his office or employment by reason of his acceptance of membership on the authority or his service thereto;
(2)It shall not constitute a conflict of interest for a director, officer, or employee of any financial institution, investment banking firm, brokerage firm, commercial bank or trust company, architectural firm, insurance company, or any other firm, person, or corporation, to serve as a member of the authority, provided such trustee, director, officer, or employee shall abstain from deliberation, action, and vote by the authority in each instance where the business affiliation or public office association of any such trustee
