Text
The county treasurer shall collect and deposit in the county school fund all moneys payable to the fund and shall give the party paying duplicate receipts therefor. The party shall file one of the receipts with the county clerk, who shall charge the amount to the county treasurer. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars.
