Text

1.If, on the first day of January of any year, any taxes levied under the provisions of this chapter are unpaid and delinquent, the county collector shall proceed to enforce the state's lien against the property of the railroad and to compel the payment of such taxes by suit in the circuit court of the county.
2.Suits shall be prosecuted in the name of the state at the relation and to the use of the county collector.
3.Such suits shall be tried in the manner prescribed in the code for civil procedure in as far as consistent with the provisions of this chapter.
