Subdivision 1.Examination by commissioner. The reinsurance association is subject to all the provisions of this chapter. The commissioner of labor and industry or an authorized representative of the commissioner may visit the reinsurance association at any time and examine, audit, or evaluate the reinsurance association's operations, records and practices. For purposes of this section, "authorized representative of the commissioner" includes employees of the Department of Labor and Industry or other parties retained by the commissioner. Subd. 2.Costs and expenses. The commissioner of labor and industry may order and the reinsurance association shall pay the costs and expenses of any examination, audit, or evaluation conducted pursuant to subdivision 1.
