All insurers writing workers' compensation insurance in this state shall provide safety and occupational health loss control consultation services to each of their policyholders requesting the services in writing. Insurers must annually notify their policyholders of their right under this section to safety and occupational health loss consultation services. The services must include the conduct of workplace surveys to identify health and safety problems, review of employer injury records with appropriate personnel, and development of plans to improve employer occupational health and safety loss records.
