Text
No insurer or representative of an insurer shall knowingly appoint a producer who is known to the insurer or representative to have engaged in any of the activities in section60K.43or to be otherwise unqualified or unfit. Upon discovery by the insurer or a representative of the insurer that an appointed producer has engaged in any of the activities in section60K.43or is otherwise unqualified or unfit, the insurer shall immediately terminate the appointment and notify the commissioner as set forth in section60K.51. No insurer shall employ a producer whose license has been revoked.
