Text
(a)Sections60K.30to60K.56govern the qualifications and procedures for the licensing of insurance producers.
(b)Except as to the underlying requirement that a surplus lines agent or broker obtain an insurance producer license, this chapter does not apply to surplus lines agents or brokers licensed under sections60A.195to60A.209, except as provided in sections60K.39and60K.53, subdivision 2.
