An individual may not sell, solicit, or negotiate flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) unless the individual is licensed as an insurance producer for one or more lines of authority under section60K.38, subdivision 1, paragraph (b), clauses (3), (4), and (6), and has in addition to the training otherwise required by this chapter satisfied the minimum training and education requirements established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for all insurance producers who sell insurance through the NFIP and published at 70 Federal Register 52, 117.
