(a)Sections515A.1-105(Property Taxation),515A.1-106(Applicability of Local Ordinances, Regulations, and Building Codes),515A.1-107(Eminent Domain),515A.2-103(Construction and Validity of Declaration and Bylaws),515A.2-104(Description of Units),515A.3-102(a) (1) to (5) and (9) to (12) (Powers of Unit Owners' Association),515A.3-111(Tort and Contract Liability),515A.3-112(Insurance),515A.3-115(Lien for Assessments),515A.3-116(Association Records),515A.4-107(Resales of Units),515A.4-1075(Purchaser's Right to Cancel), and515A.1-103(Definitions) to the extent necessary in construing any of those sections, apply to all condominiums created in this state prior to August 1, 1980; provided, however, that these sections apply only with respect to events and circumstances occurring after July 31, 19
