Text

(a)The commissioner has the power to examine and investigate the affairs of any covered financial institution to determine whether the financial institution has been or is engaged in any conduct that violates this chapter. This power is in addition to the powers granted to the commissioner under section46.01.
(b)If the commissioner has reason to believe that a financial institution has been or is engaged in conduct in Minnesota that violates this chapter, the commissioner may take action necessary or appropriate to enforce this chapter.
