Text
The county may levy taxes for solid waste management purposes upon all taxable property within the county. The county may levy a tax in anticipation of need for solid waste management purposes as specified in the resolution levying the tax, appropriating the proceeds of the tax to a special fund to be used only for those purposes and, until used, to be invested in securities authorized in section118A.04.
