Subdivision 1.Scope. For purposes of this chapter, the terms defined in this section have the meanings given them. Subd. 2.Agency. "Agency" means any county, federally recognized Indian tribe, or multicounty social services collaboratives. Subd. 2a.Assistance unit. "Assistance unit" is defined by program area under sections142E.01, subdivision 13;142G.02, subdivision 8;256D.02, subdivision 1d;256D.35, subdivision 3a; and256I.03, subdivision 1b. Subd. 2b.Census income. "Census income" means income earned working as a census enumerator or decennial census worker responsible for recording the housing units and residents in a specific geographic area. Subd. 2c.Date of application. "Date of application" means the date on which the agency receives an applicant's application as a signed writ
