Text

The commissioner shall award grants to agencies and multi-Tribal collaboratives through an annual competitive process. Grants awarded under this section may be used for:

(1)outreach to locate and engage people who are homeless or residing in segregated settings to screen for basic needs and assist with referral to community living resources;
(2)building capacity to provide technical assistance and consultation on housing and related support service resources for persons with both disabilities and low income; or (3) streamlining the administration and monitoring activities related to housing support funds. Agencies may collaborate and submit a joint application for funding under this section.
