Text
(a)The commissioner may establish a veterans stable housing initiative. If the commissioner establishes a veterans stable housing initiative under this section, the commissioner must provide resources and support to assist veterans experiencing homelessness in obtaining or maintaining stable housing.
(b)Data on individuals maintained by the commissioner in the Homeless Veteran Registry for purposes of the veterans stable housing initiative is private data on individuals as defined in section13.02, subdivision 12, and must not be disclosed or shared except for coordinating homelessness prevention efforts with:
(1)members of the Minnesota Interagency Council on Homelessness; and
(2)Homeless Veteran Registry partners to address a veteran's episode of homelessness or maintain a veteran's h
