Subdivision 1.General. As used in sections181A.01to181A.12, the terms defined in this section shall have the following meanings. Subd. 2.Department. "Department" means the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. Subd. 3.Division. "Division" means the Division of Labor Standards within the department. Subd. 4.Commissioner. "Commissioner" means the commissioner of the department or designees. Subd. 4a.Content creation. "Content creation" means content shared on an online platform in exchange for compensation. Subd. 4b.Content creator. "Content creator" means an individual or individuals 18 years of age or older, including family members, who create video content performed in Minnesota in exchange for compensation, and includes any proprietorship, partnership, company, or other corp
