Subdivision 1.Generally. There is hereby created a Board of Dentistry whose duty it shall be to carry out the purposes and enforce the provisions of sections150A.01to150A.12. The board shall consist of two public members as defined by section214.02, five qualified resident dentists, one qualified resident licensed dental assistant, and one qualified resident dental hygienist appointed by the governor. Membership terms, compensation of members, removal of members, the filling of membership vacancies, and fiscal year and reporting requirements shall be as provided in sections214.07to214.09.
