Subdivision 1.Notification requirement. An individual licensed as a certified midwife must notify the board when the individual renews their certification. If a licensee fails to provide notification, the licensee is prohibited from practicing as a certified midwife. Subd. 2.Denial of license. Refusal of an applicant to supply information necessary to determine the applicant's qualifications, failure to demonstrate qualifications, or failure to satisfy the requirements for a license contained in this chapter or rules of the board may result in denial of a license. The burden of proof is upon the applicant to demonstrate the qualifications and satisfaction of the requirements.
