§ 32 §14226-A — Qualifications; hair designer
A person is eligible to obtain a license under this chapter for the practice of hair design if that person:
1.Training.
Has satisfactorily completed a course of instruction in the practice of hair design of 1,200 hours in not less than 7 months in a school licensed by the director or has experience in the practice of hair design as a trainee of 2,000 hours distributed over a period of at least 12 months; and
2.Examination.
Has passed an approved examination.
