§ 12 §12604 — Closed season violation
Maine·Title 12 CONSERVATION·Part 13 INLAND FISHERIES AND WILDLIFE·Ch. 923 FISH: FISHING SEASONS AND RESTRICTIONS
1.Prohibition.
A person may not fish for any fish during the closed season or possess any fish taken during the closed season on that fish.
2.Penalty.
A person who violates this section commits a Class E crime. The court shall also impose a fine of $20 for each fish unlawfully possessed, none of which may be suspended.
