§ 12 §11603 — Unlawful firearms for hunting moose
Maine·Title 12 CONSERVATION·Part 13 INLAND FISHERIES AND WILDLIFE·Ch. 915 HUNTING: SEASONS, REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS
1.Prohibition.
A person may not use a .17 or .22 caliber rimfire firearm or a shotgun using shot loads to hunt moose.
1-A.
Hunting moose with a crossbow; 70 years of age or older.
2.Penalties.
The following penalties apply to violations of subsection 1.
