Text

A person who holds a license or permit issued under this Part shall, while engaged in the licensed activity or while transporting fish, wild animals or wild birds:

1.Carry license or permit. Have on that person that license or permit; and
2.Exhibit license or permit. Exhibit that license or permit for inspection upon request to a warden or other law enforcement officer, an employee of the department, a registered Maine guide or the owner of the land on which the licensed activity is taking place. A license or permit under this section may be on paper or in electronic format. A person who violates this section commits a Class E crime.
