Section 38P. Every school psychologist and supervisor of school psychologists appointed by a school committee and holding certification as a school psychologist from the department of education shall acquire tenure in the school system of the city, town or district in which he is employed, subject to the provisions of sections forty-one, forty-two and forty-three A.
