There shall be a manufactured home commission, hereinafter called the commission, consisting of five members, not more than three of whom shall be of the same political party, to be appointed by the governor, with the advice and consent of the council. At least one of the appointees shall reside in a manufactured housing community and at least one shall be an owner of a manufactured housing community. There shall also be two ex-officio members consisting of the director of housing and community development or a designee and the attorney general or a designee.
