Text
Section 75A. No gas company or municipality distributing gas shall install or replace a meter measuring gas supplied to any premises except in accordance with regulations prescribed by the department for preventing or retarding the escape of gas in case of fire. Said regulations shall be enforced by the department and may provide that any such gas meter installed on the outside of buildings may be subject to less stringent installation requirements if approved by the department.
