Text

A. Any person who stores an aircraft, whether or not in connection with the performance of repairs, restoration, or maintenance work on said aircraft, has a privilege on the aircraft for either of the following:

(1)The amount due under the contract for storage.
(2)If no amount was specified by contract, the reasonable and usual compensation for the storage. B. The rights and remedies provided to the privilege holder under this provision shall be identical to those provided in R.S. 9:4511 and R.S. 9:4512 with the exception that the amount due to the privilege holder under this provision shall include storage costs or fees up to the day judgment is obtained, the aircraft is sold, or the possession of the aircraft is relinquished, whichever first occurs.
